When upgrading your 2015-2020 XL/XLT F-150 main door harnesses to that of the Lariat or higher trim when considering the path of adding additional features and functions down the road like power folding mirrors, spot lamps, or BLIS, BUT will be keeping your original door panels, you will discover that the lock/unlock connector in the Lariat door harness uses an 8 pin connector while the lock/unlock button in your XL/XLT door panel uses a 4 pin connector. We have solved this easily with an 8 pin to 4 pin adapter. No need to depin, rewire, solder, crimp or anything beyond simply connecting our adapter and being done! All upgrades should be this easy.
